Product Description:

Psyllium Hulls Combination [Intestinal] provides bulk to the diet. The hulls absorb several times their weight in liquid. Psyllium has high amounts of undigestible fiber that has a mucilaginous quality. NSP Psyllium Hulls Combination contains psyllium hulls, hibiscus flower and licorice root in bulk rather than encapsulated form. Psyllium hulls can play an important part in helping the body maintain healthy cholesterol levels and preventing cardiovascular disease. May cause allergic reaction in persons sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Stir 1 teaspoon powder into 8 oz. water, fruit juice or other liquid one–three times daily. Children 6 and older: use 1/4 teaspoon in half a glass of liquid at bedtime.
