Nature's Phenyltol® withDL-Phenylalanine [Nervous] is designed to minimize discomfort. Its ingredients prevent the enzyme carboxypeptidase from destroying one of the body’s natural pain relievers, enkephalin. This product contains white willow and purple willow, both rich in the glucoside salicin. Salicin is used in several over-the-counter analgesic preparations. Morinda and wood betony herb work synergistically with DL-Phenylalanine and willow extracts to allow the body to unlock its own healing and pain-relieving powers. Take 2–4 capsules with a meal three-four times daily with a glass of water. Because Nature's Phenyltol contains DL-Phenylalanine, the following people should consult a health care professional before taking this product: people with PKU (phenylketonuria) or high blood pressure, people who are taking antidepressants containing monoamine oxidase inhibitors, women who are pregnant or lactating, and children under 14.
